Explorer 300 Fire Pit/Grill

Oh the places you will glow.

Hardcore hikers, backyard campers and RV road warriors have at least two things in common. They like to cook over and open fire. And they like to drink over an open fire. And that’s exactly why we created the Explorer 300 Fire Pit/Grill.

What kind of fuels can I use with the Explorer 300 Fire Pit/Grill?

  • The grill can burn charcoal briquettes, lump charcoal, or hardwood logs.

  • We don’t recommend using a starter fluid. However, if you choose to, use only charcoal starter fluid. Never add charcoal fluid or any other flammable liquids to the fire or hot coals.

  • We recommend using chimney starters or BBQ starters such as lighter cubes which are an easy and efficient way to light the grill and do not impart a chemical taste to your food.

What is the best way to clean the Explorer 300 Fire Pit/Grill?

  • Use a stainless-steel wire brush to clean the cooking grate.

  • Never leave ash in the grill for longer than 24 hours.

  • Sweep or broom out the fire bowl after each use, once it is cool to the touch.

  • After each use, clean the grill with hot water, a mild liquid soap, and a general scrubber. Rinse and then dry immediately.

  • Store the grill in a cool, dry place. Do not leave it outside unprotected.

Does the Explorer 300 Fire Pit/Grill come with a warranty?

Yes, the Explorer 300 Fire Pit/Grill has a five-year warranty. Please register your grill online at Outback-Grill.com and retain your original receipt and/or invoice. For more details, see the Owner’s Manual here.
